解读：【第一部分是诗歌的第1节，给人们描绘了一幅梅雨季节江南小巷的阴沉图景。这里充满了迷惘的情绪和朦胧的希望。读的时候，“希望逢着”重读，开篇电梯，“悠长、悠长”“寂寥””愁怨“用延长音，营造那种凄清而优美的意境。 】
她是有 丁香一样的/颜色，丁香一样的/芬芳，丁香一样的/忧愁，在雨中/哀怨，哀怨/又彷徨;
她彷徨在/这寂寥的/雨巷，撑着/油纸伞像我一样，像我一样地默默/行着，冷漠，/凄清，/又惆怅。
她/静默地/走近 走近，/又投出 太息一般的/眼光，她飘过 像梦一般地，像梦一般地/凄婉迷茫。
像/梦中/飘过 一枝/丁香地，我身旁/飘过/这个女郎;她静默地/远了，/远了，到了/颓圮的/篱墙，走尽/这雨巷。
在/雨的哀曲里，消了/她的颜色，散了/她的芬芳，消散了，甚至/她的 太息般的/眼光， 丁香般的/惆怅。
解读：【第二部为诗歌的第2、3、4、5、6节，写了理想的美好、到来、离去、破灭的过程。朗读时，语气舒缓，节奏起伏不大，多用气声和虚声，营造那种朦胧而迷茫的意境。2节三个比喻读稍快、稍轻，最后两句稍慢，稍重。3节两个“像我一样”后面一个比前面一个读得读，“冷漠，凄清，又惆怅”一词一顿，读出迷茫的语气。4节两个“太息”，读时带着叹气的`语调，“像梦一般地”，后面一个读的比前一个轻，“凄婉迷茫”气声拉长，营造那种朦胧的意境。5节前3句由远而近，声音变大，变高后3句由近及远，声音变小，变低，从而营造出空间的转换。5节写了理想破灭后的心情，是全诗感情最消沉的一节。读时，应气息下沉，读出十分凄婉的语气。】

《雨巷》的作者戴望舒是现代派象征主义诗人中的翘楚，而雨巷一诗是他早期象征主义诗歌的代表作，象征主义不满足于描绘事物的明确的线条和固定的轮廓，它所追求的艺术效果，并不是要使读者理解诗人究竟要说什么，而是要使读者似懂非懂，恍惚若有所悟;使读者体会到此中有深意。象征主义不追求单纯的明朗，也不故意追求晦涩;它所追求的是半明半暗，明暗配合，扑朔迷离。象征主义诗歌十分强调音乐效果，可是诗句的音乐性不是单纯通过机械的协韵表现出来，而在于诗句内在的节奏和旋律。此类诗歌多用含蓄的暗示注重于情感的表现。

Alone holding an oil-paper umbrella,
I wander along a long
Solitary lane in the rain,
Hoping to encounter
A girl like a bouquet of lilacs
Gnawed by anxiety and resentment.
A girl
The colour of lilacs,
The fragrance of lilacs,
With the worries of lilacs,
Feeling melancholy in the rain,
Plaintive and hesitating.
She wanders along the solitary lane in the rain,
Holding an oil-paper umbrella
Just as I do,
Just like me,
Walking slowly in silence,
Aloof, sad and melancholy.
Silently she comes closer,
Closer, giving me
A glance like a sigh;
Then she floats past
Like a dream,
Dreary and blank like a dream.
Like a lilac
Floating past in a dream,
the girl floats past me;
Silently she goes further and further,
To the crumbling wall,
Out of the lane in the rain.
In the mournful melody of the rain,
Her colour has faded,
Her fragrance has disappeared,

She looks sorrowful in the rain,

She paces the lonely alley,
