道歉信的英语格式
1、由于违约，或做错了事，说错了话，或是因服务不周造成了某种不良后果， 当事人必须为此道歉。 书写道歉类便条时要注意：
(1)要言辞恳切，诚心诚意，指出自己并非故意伤害或开罪对方，切忌对自己的` 过失作过多辩解。
(2). 要请对方谅解自己的过失或给对方带来的不便。
(3). 需要使用 I’m sorry, I apologize 等字眼明确表达自己的歉意。
2、正文主要有4 个部分:
(1). 道歉行为和内容。
(2). 道歉的具体理由。
(3). 弥补方法。
(4). 进一步致歉

6. I shall not be so rude/late/careless again. Sample Directions: You are already have a date with your friend but suddenly have another thi ng to do and you have to tell your friend that you can’t go. Express your reas on clearly in about 100 words. May 5, 2008 Dear Jane,
(1)I am sorry to tell you that I won’t be able to come this afternoon because I have to go to the airport at 2:00 p. m. to meet an overseas visitor from Australia.
(2)I really have kept our date in my mind all these days, however, I received my boss’ e-mail this morning, he asked me to go to the airport to meet one of his friends from abroad, it’s suddenly and urgent and I must go.
(3) Please forgive me.
(4) Would you please ring me up to make another time? Yours, Tom 时间 称呼语
(1) 道歉的内容。 套语：I am sorry to tell you that… 表明自己不能赴约
(2)道歉的具体原因 收到了上司的信函, 要去机场接机 it’s suddenly and urgent and I must go. 进一步解释,并表明自己的无奈
(3)进一步道歉 Please forgive me 求得原谅
(4)提出弥补的办法落款 May 5, 2008 Dear Emma, I am writing to express my apology that I cannot dine with you this afternoon. I’m really sorry but I have some urgent thing to do. It is my essay on history my teacher called me this morning and asked me to revise my essay in her office, so I guess I have to spend a whole day there. I hope you will forgive me and please call me as soon as possible so we can discuss the next meeting time. Yours, Jane
因迟复来信致歉Because of answering one’s letter late
Dear David:
I am afraid that you will think me unpardonably negligent in not having answered your letter dated 7, December sooner, but when I have told you the reason, I trust you will be convinced that the neglect was excusable. When your letter arrived, I was just in Hong Kong. As my family could not forward it to me during my absence, it has been, therefore, lying on my desk until the moment when I took it up. Now the first thing I have to hasten to do is to write to you these few lines to express my deep regret.
I enjoyed many pleasant sights during my trip. I shall be pleased to give you an account to of them when I see you next.
